Founded in 1953, Medtechnica specializes in importing, marketing, sales and technical support of medical devices and equipment. A subsidiary of the Ilex Group (TASE:ILX), the company partners with international blue-chip companies, healthcare professionals and purchasing departments to provide them with holistic solutions for the Israeli market.

Our customers include HMOs, public hospitals, the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Defense, the Israeli Police Department, and private health institutions and clinics, as well as private customers.

Beyond working closely with Israel’s healthcare system, The Ilex Group, including Ilex medical, Medtechnica, and Flight, contributes to projects that benefit Israeli society. We donate our time and resources towards helping people with disabilities reach their optimal professional potential.

Our group is involved in two main projects

Grown-ups in Uniform

Over the past four years, the Ilex Group has financially supported “Grown-ups in Uniform,” a youth group that assists youth with disabilities integrate into the Israeli Defense Forces and into Israeli society, with the main goal being to eventually integrate them into civilian employment, so that they can live as independent a life as possible.

Education for Excellence

Additionally, we have decided to focus our efforts on contributing to causes that are close to our hearts as a company. Within this framework, our employees volunteered to teach youth through “Education for the Peaks,” an organization that works to promote excellence and realize children’s potential, as they work towards academic, personal and social success. The group’s employees volunteer every week throughout the year, teaching the youth either one-on-one or as part of a science course, covering topics such as, introduction to medicine, microorganisms, the respiratory system, the immune system, ultrasound, resuscitation, and more.

Dr. Moshe Benshaul

Chairman

Dr. Moshe Benshaul founded the Ilex Group in 1984 and has led the group to success as its former CEO and current Chairman. Moshe has transformed the Group from a diagnostic supplier to the Israeli laboratory market into a multinational business group. Prior to founding Ilex, Moshe was group country manager for Instrumentation Laboratory (IL), a biomedical company headquartered in Lexington, Massachusetts, USA. From 1970 to 1976, he served as the managing director for the Israeli subsidiary of Varian Associates, which developed scientific instrumentation, medical and industrial linear accelerators, and large-scale information systems.

Tammy Galili

CEO Ilex Medical

Tammy joined the company in 1996. Prior to her current position, Mrs. Galili was the company’s VP Operations & HR and VP Sales & Marketing. She also serves as the company’s director. Tammy holds a BA in history of the Middle East and Africa from Tel Aviv University and an MBA in healthcare innovation from Reichman University.

Boaz Yehezkel

CEO Medtechnica

Before becoming CEO, Boaz headed up our Hospital division. Upon joining the company in 2006, he ran the Diagnostics department. He has extensive experience in the field, having filled several sales and management positions at NUR Macroprinters, including Chief Operating Officer of Europe and North America and head of the company's Aftersale Division. Boaz holds a BSc in electronics from Ben Gurion University and an MBA from Heriot-Watt University, Scotland.

Lilach Mani

CFO

Lilach has been the company's CFO since 2016, having first served as the company's comptroller. Prior to joining Medtechnica, Lilach served as the financial comptroller of Ilex Medical Ltd. starting in 2007. In her prior roles, Lilach served as the financial comptroller of Makhteshim Agan and comptroller of several public high-tech companies. She holds a BA in accounting and economics from Tel Aviv University.

Meir Kadosh

VP Hospital Division

Prior to joining the company, Meir was the business manager at Medtronic Israel, where he also served as a board member. He has extensive knowledge and experience in marketing, sales, and strategic planning for local and global health systems. Kadosh holds a BA in business administration.

VP imaging & Cardiology Division

Ravit has over 15 years of experience in the healthcare industry, in direct sales, as well as in marketing leadership and distributor activity management positions, at various corporations. Ravit has a proven track record of sales excellence, spearheading complicated sales processes and technology implementation in strategic accounts and top management. Ravit holds a bachelor's degree in nursing and an Executive MBA in business management and marketing.
Ravit has over 15 years of experience in the healthcare industry, in direct sales, as well as in marketing leadership and distributor activity management positions, at various corporations. Nir Bachman

VP Service & Project Division

Nir is an expert in medical device technical services, project management, engineering and operations. Before joining Medtechnica, he worked at several companies in the medical device and other industries, including in the US and Europe. Nir holds a BSc in industrial engineering and management from the Technion – Israel’s Institute of Technology, and an MBA in healthcare innovation from Reichman University.
Nir is an expert in medical device technical services, project management, engineering and operations. Before joining Medtechnica, he worked at several companies in the medical device and other industries, including in the US and Europe. Nir holds a BSc in industrial engineering and management from the Technion – Israel’s Institute of Technology, and an MBA in healthcare innovation from Reichman University.

VP of Supply Chain

Oshrat has over 10 years of experience in supply chain management, logistics, importation, and operations management for the medical industry. For 8 years and before joining Medtechnica, she held a VP Supply Chain position within the pharmaceutical industry. Oshrat has extensive knowledge in international trade and stock, storage and distribution methods, and holds a BA in social sciences.

HR Manager

Anat joined Medtechnica in 2019 and has been working at Ilex Group since 2010. Anat holds a BSc in psychology and communications from Haifa University and a master's degree in labor studies from Tel-Aviv University. Anat has an extensive human resources background spanning 15 years. Before joining Medtechnica and Ilex, Anat worked at the BDO accounting firm as a recruiting manager, and at Pilat Hi Capital Group as an assessment counselor.
Anat joined Medtechnica in 2019 and has been working at Ilex Group since 2010.
